Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yusuf is on the watch list of the Super Eagles, according to coach Augustine Eguavoen.
Eguavoen has admitted he is on the lookout for a box-to-box midfielder in the mould of Mutiu Adepoju or Thompson Oliha.
“There is a midfielder at Antwerp I will check out. I have watched him only on TV,” the Super Eagles coach told Elegbete TV.
“I got someone to check for me and he says the boy has the quality I am looking for.
“With the slightest opportunity I have now, I will go and meet up with him (in Belgium).”
At the weekend, Alhassan enhanced his stocks by scoring his third goal of the season in a 2-1 loss at Anderlecht.
His club Antwerp remain on track to win the Belgian Jupiler Professional League this season.
