Alhaji Gero has told SCORENigeria his contract with Swedish club Helsingborgs has ran out and he will join a new club next month.
“My contract has ended and in January I will sign with a new team,” Gero told SCORENigeria
He made three appearances in the Swedish Superettan last season.
He has been capped by Nigeria at U20 and CHAN Eagles levels.
The 28-year-old centre-forward has previously played for Swedish clubs Osters IF and Ostersund, Viborg in Denmark as well as Esteghlal FC in Iran.
He also played for Nigerian clubs Kaduna United, El Kanemi and Enugu Rangers.
