Flying Eagles striker Jerome Akor scored a brace and could even have grabbed a hat-trick but for a missed penalty in the last minute as Sogndal thrashed Tromsdalen 5-2 today.
Akor, 19, scored in the 31st and 61st minutes to open his goals’ account in Norway this season.
He played from start to finish.
Sogndal have now climbed to ninth on the table with 20 points from 13 matches.
They have an outstanding match at home against Start on Wednesday as they aim to get into the playoffs bracket.
