Jerome Akor has said he is in good shape to make his Montpellier debut without any delays.
The 23-year-old striker could even make his bow for the French Ligue 1 side Sunday against Le Havre.
“I have a good feeling, right now this is the right step and I’m just looking forward to what is to come,” he said.
“I’m already coming from half a season (in Norway), so I feel good, I feel sharp. I’m ready for the games.”
The leading scorer in the Norwegian league (15 goals in as many games) will also back his new club to shine in Ligue 1.
“Montpellier have the ambition to do well in the league and as a striker I hope to score as many goals as I can for us to win games,” he vowed.
“I will always give my best and we will enjoy our time together.”
