SCORENigeria can report that former Flying Eagles star Jerome Akor will fly out of France tomorrow to complete his transfer to La Liga club Sevilla.
A source close to the striker told SCORENigeria: “Akor will leave France tomorrow for Spain for a routine medical and after which he will sign for Sevilla.”
The striker, who will be 25 in the new week and has been linked with the Super Eagles, has been unhappy with his development at French family club Montpellier after a flying start in his first season in Ligue 1.
Last weekend, Montpellier recorded a rare win in the French league as they beat AS Monaco 2-1 with Akor an unused sub.
They remain bottom of Ligue 1.
Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano has already reported that talks are at an advanced stage for Sevilla to sign the powerfully built centre-forward.
