Jerome Akor has shrugged off his latest injury setback to make the Sevilla matchday squad to Alaves today.
The 25-year-old striker has been sidelined by a muscle injury and so has only made two appearances in La Liga this season as a result.
Akor, who was the Super Eagles provisional squad for recent 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, has yet to open his goals’ account in La Liga.
Sevilla are 12th in the standings with four points from as many matches with Alaves four spots above on seven points.
