Akor hit target on the hour for home team Lillestrom with a superb header to complete a great team play.
The 23-year-old striker drew his team level with visiting Bodo/Glimt, who however went on to win the tie 2-1.
Akor is now just three goals shy of his league tally last season, which still crowned him his team’s top scorer.
The loss dropped Lillestrom to fourth place in the standings with nine points from five matches.
