Jerome Akor was again the hero for Sevilla after he scored the match winner at Villarreal 3-2 for them to move points clear of the relegation zone with two rounds of matches to the end of the La Liga season.
Sevilla fell twice behind within the first 20 minutes at third-placed Villarreal only for them fight back and draw level in first half stoppage time.
Akor then delivered the decisive finish in the 72nd minute for his team on the road.
He has now netted 10 goals in the Spanish top league this season.
This latest heroics by the Super Eagles striker was coming after he came off the bench at the weekend to also snatch the match winner at home against Espanyol.
Sevilla are now 10th on the table with 43 points from 36 matches with two matches still to be played.
