Chuba Akpom, who has pledged his international allegiance to the Super Eagles, is one of seven top stars who have been told by Dutch giants Ajax they could leave.
Former Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom played on loan last season at French Ligue 1 side Lille after he failed to establish himself at Ajax.
He was unhappy that he was not being played as top striker by the Dutch Masters and so agreed to the adventure in France.
The released players cost Ajax as much as 37 Million Euros and so the club will make some losses on the transfer market selling them, but they also want to get rid of their high salaries.
