Swedish club AIK have said they do not plan to risk playing Zadok Yohanna as the transfer window approaches.
The exciting youngster is a top target for some of Europe’s top clubs after a super start to the new season in Sweden.
Zadok has suffered a hamstring injury and so missed Sunday’s league game versus Vasteras.
AIK have two more games before the international break, vs Hammarby and Sirius.
Head of recruitment Miika Takkula was asked if the club would risk playing the exciting winger.
“No, no, no,” he replied.
Takkula said the player’s rehabilitation is going well.
“He is undergoing rehab. There is nothing more to say,” he maintained.
Zadok, 18, has scored two goals and made three assists in seven league appearances thus far.
