Ageless striker Peter Utaka has netted his fourth goal in seven appearances for Japanese J1 league club Kyoto Sanga FC as they drew 1-1 with visiting Gamba Osaka.
The 38-year-old striker gave his side the lead at the end of the first half, but they could not hold on to lead.
He scored 21 games in 40 games last season to help them secure promotion to the top flight.
His compatriot Ismail Origbaajo was an 82nd minute substitute for Kyoto Sanga FC when he replaced Shimpei Fukuoka.
