As widely expected, Ademola Lookman started this cup tie and he wasted little time to justify the heavy investment made by Atletico to sign him from Atalanta this week.
He made it 3-0 for his new club after just 37 minutes and it was an individual goal to behold as he had to go past two markers inside the box before he fired past the diving goalkeeper.
He then assisted Antoine Griezmann on 62 minutes for the fourth goal.
He was rated 7.8 points by Sofascore as he also won a tackle, recorded a passing accuracy of 86% and won seven of 15 duels in 79 minutes of action.
Atletico smashed past home team Real Betis 5-0.
