Despite a face-off with Atalanta, forward Ademola Lookman has led several other top stars like William Ekong, Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi to hit the Super Eagles training camp in Uyo, which opened today.
Other early birds in Uyo are Semi Ajayi, South Africa-based defender Olisa Ndah and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Ademola Lookman was hoping to join French champions PSG after agreeing personal terms, but his Italian club blocked the transfer.
Observers have questioned the forward’s frame of mind after the episode as well as the fact that he has yet to play in the Serie A this season on account of this episode.
Officials told SCORENigeria that a full house is expected later today with caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen also headed to Uyo.
The Super Eagles battle Benin on Saturday, before they take on Rwanda in Kigali next Tuesday.
