Today, Ademola Lookman had his first training with new club Atletico Madrid, just as the club President said they are honoured he turned down other top clubs to sign for them.

Mundo Deportivo reported Ademola Lookman completed his first training session as a player of Atlético de Madrid.
This comes as Atletico Madrid President, Enrique Cerezo, welcomed the Super Eagles star as a new player, describing him as the club’s most notable signing of the winter market.
Cerezo highlighted that Lookman was wanted by big clubs and had significant offers from other clubs, but chose to join Atletico Madrid despite the economic differences.
The president also stated that joining the club had been a desire of Lookman’s for many years.
Ademola Lookman has signed a contract until June 30, 2030.
