Several of the players who failed to feature in the USA friendlies with the Super Eagles are expected to join the team in Abuja ahead of 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.
Officials said the players include Rangers defender Leon Balogun, Israel-based goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye and Alhassan Yusuf from Antwerp in Belgium.
Balogun, for one, was not in the USA because he was nursing a minor injury, while Yusuf did not secure an entry visa to America.
Belgium-based defend Valentine Ozornwafor has also been handed a late call-up for the qualifiers.
Nigeria welcome Sierra Leone in a Group A clash on June 9 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, before they head to Morocco for another qualifier against Sao Tome on June 14.
