Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has piled the pressure on Victor Osimhen, saying he has yet to justify even half of the record transfer fee Napoli paid to sign him from Lille last summer.
Osimhen did not enjoy a great game in Napoli’s last game against Roma and the newspaper has gone on to question his value.
“The young Nigerian must ask himself if he really aims to be one of the top stars in European football, or rather he is satisfied with being a player who never fulfilled his potentials,” the newspaper said.
“Osimhen remember that you still have to prove that you are worth at least half of what was paid for you.”
