Henry Onyekuru has landed in Istanbul to complete his loan move to Galatasaray from AS Monaco, saying he is always happy to be in Turkey.
The 23-year-old forward arrived early Saturday after his flight from France was twice cancelled.
“I am always happy to be here,” Onyekuru said on arrival.
This will be his third loan spell at the Istanbul giants.
This loan transfer has an option for ‘Gala’ to buy him permanently.
In his two previous stints, he scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 56 official games.
He won a league and cup double with the club in his first spell.
He will be expected to be presented to the media later today after he would have passed a routine medical.
A Galatasaray statement disclosed that they are in the process of finalising a loan transfer for the Nigeria star.
