The Golden Eaglets today suffered their first loss since they began training in Abuja after they fell to Future of Africa Academy of Kaduna 1-0.
The Nigeria U17s created many chances but failed to take any as the youngsters from Kaduna took the shine off them.
“I hope the boys have learned from this loss,” a disappointed official told SCORENigeria
The Eaglets have now six matches, drawn twice and lost once.
They are preparing for next month’s U17 AFCON qualifiers in Benin amid rumours the tournament will still go ahead even though FIFA have cancelled the 2021 U17 World Cup due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
