Samuel Kalu has fully recovered from a hamstring injury and will start for Bordeaux at Rennes tonight.
Kalu was injured last month on international duty with Nigeria.
Bordeaux coach Jean-Louis Gassett was earlier unsure if the Nigeria winger will start tonight.
He last played for his Ligue 1 club on October 4 against Dijon.
The 23-year-old Kalu has scored twice in six league matches this season.
Bordeaux are 12th on the Ligue 1 table.
