Samuel Kalu and Moses Ogbu added to their goals’ tally in France and Sweden, respectively, while Paul Onuachu could no longer be overlooked by even the Super Eagles after he fired his seventh goal in Belgium.

‘The Girl with the Blue Hair’ was again outstanding as her Norwegian club Avaldsnes beat Kolbotn 2-1 to stay within striking distance of league leaders Valerenga. They are fourth on the table with 28 points, just three points behind the leaders. The former FC Robo star is making a big impression in her second season in Europe as she has now surpassed her last year’s goals tally with six goals.
4.Daryl Dike
The younger brother of former Super Eagles striker Bright Dike has continued to prove himself in the Major League Soccer (MLS) after he scored his fourth goal of the season in a 3-1 win over New York Red Bull. This is only his first season as a professional. His Orlando City are now top of their conference.
3.Moses Ogbu
Mjallby continue to push their way up the standings in Sweden thanks in part to the goals of experienced striker Moses Ogbu, who netted his ninth goal of the campaign in a 3-2 home win over Helsingborgs. It is little therefore that some top clubs are casting their eyes on the 29-year-old striker who has been in Sweden since 2010.

2.Samuel Kalu
After it seemed he did not have a future at Ligue 1 club Bordeaux and may even be offloaded, the Super Eagles winger has fought his way back to top reckoning with his second goal of the season in an important 3-0 home win over Dijon. It was a superb individual effort which further underlined his class and quality.
1.Paul Onuachu
Everything is falling in place for the giant striker as he has continued to score goals for KRC Genk in Belgium. He grabbed his seventh goal in a 1-1 draw at Waasland-Beveren and was promptly recalled to the Super Eagles in place of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. This was after he had been overlooked by coach Gernot Rohr since a below-par showing at last year’s AFCON in Egypt. A great September was crowned with Player of the Month award in Belgium.
