SCORENigeria first reported that Obasi has been training with the Austrian club.
Earlier this year, he trained with former club Hoffenheim but was not given a contract.
Last year, Swedish club AIK Solna did not extend his contract even after he netted five goals and provided two assists in 18 league appearances.
Obasi has played in Norway, England, Germany, Sweden and China previously.
