Emmanuel Dennis has recovered from an ankle injury to start today for champions Club Brugge at Genk, who will start Paul Onuachu, while Cyriel Dessers has been dropped to the bench.
Dennis, 23, has only played once this season on account of the injury amid speculations over his future at Club Brugge as he hopes for a major transfer.
Compatriot David Okereke will start his first match this season for Club Brugge after playing a total of 34 minutes in the team’s first three matches.
For Genk, Onuachu, who was the club’s leading scorer in the league with nine goals last season, will lead the attack in this high-profile clash.
However, Super Eagles call-up Dessers, who cost his hometown club four million Euros in the close season, has been consigned to the bench after his combination with Onuachu in the shock loss to division Two champions Beerschot failed to deliver at home.
Stephen Odey again did not make the matchday squad as he has continued to be linked with a loan move away from Genk.
