Emmanuel Dennis still hopes to quit Belgian champions Club Brugge during this transfer window, according to his coach.
Everyone knows that Dennis would like to take the next step. But the same applies as with the incoming transfers: it will depend on the market,” said Club Brugge coach Philippe Clement.
German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen are the latest club linked with the Super Eagles winger.
However, Italian Serie A club Atalanta remain in pole position to sign him as they are prepared to match the club’s valuation of around 25 million Euros for the forward.
However, Dennis looks set to again be sidelined by an ankle injury for the second straight weekend after he hurt the ankle again in training.
