Sanusi provided a delicious assist for his team’s second goal in the 28th minute.
The impressive leftback, 23, has made 22 league appearances with a goal to show this season.
His displays have already attracted interest from FC Porto and Armenia Bielefeld, who will play in the German Bundesliga next season after they won Bundesliga 2.
Santa Clara are 10th on the table with 41 points from 32 matches.
