Turkish champions Galatasaray have had to come up with at least two different options on the transfer market as back-up for their only proven striker Victor Osimhen.
Argentine striker Mauro Icardi has left the Istanbul giants and they have failed to bring in another top striker, they have now fallen back on signing a Turkish player as deputy for Osimhen.
The new rule of 10+4, which limits the foreign quota of players a Turkish team could feature, is reported to be behind this transfer strategy by Gala.
The alternative strikers they are now considering are Deniz Gul from FC Porto and Bertug Yildirim of Basaksehir.
