Andrew Fasanya has made history after he became the youngest player to ever play for Scottish club Aberdeen in an official game.
At 15 years, seven months and 12 days old Fasanya became the youngest player to feature for Aberdeen when he came on in the second half against Kelty Hearts.
He thus erased the record set by Dean Campbell in 2017.
Abderdeen boss Stephen Robinson was excited about his latest teenage sensation.
“We had to ask his mum. Protocols are put in place for a 15-year-old, which is right as well. He is built like a man, is lightning quick and had real confidence,” Robinson said.
“When you are young, nothing bothers you and they believe in themselves, same with Findlay (Marshall).
“It is important we protect him and do the right things. He is a really good prospect and that is what he is at this stage.”
