A transfer to Fiorentina is off the table for Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare after the Italian Serie A club signed Cote d’Ivoire international Christ Inao Oulai to fill up their non-EU quota.
Fiorentina had made several bids for the 25-year-old striker, who himself was keen to move to Italy.
The situation has meant Turkish giants Trabzonspor are now in with a chance of signing Arokodare.
They have sold Augusto to Russia and want the Nigeria striker as a direct replacement.
Trabzonspor are pushing for a loan deal and an option to buy with Wolves.
