Raphael Omyedika has taken a huge step towards moving to Eintracht Frankfurt after he reached a verbal agreement with the German Bundesliga club.
Onyedika could sign a contract with the German Bundesliga club until mid-2031.
The 25-year-old midfielder is considered Eintracht’s number one candidate for the defensive midfielder position.
The Germans already had him on their wish list last summer and during the winter transfer window.
Eintracht have now started negotiations with Club Brugge.
According to BILD, the current bid amounts to between eight and 10 million euros.
Club Brugge are not in an ideal negotiating position, as Onyedika is only under contract until mid-2027.
The personal agreement between the player and Frankfurt could further increase the pressure.
