Super Eagles striker Jerome Akor is now closer to switching Spanish La Liga for the Italian Serie A.
Latest reports said Sevilla and Venezia now have a verbal agreement for the 26-year-old centre-forward.
Venezia have already agreed personal terms with Akor with the Italian club, who are expected to pay Sevilla about 15 million euros.
Venezia are back in Serie A after they were crowned Serie B champions last season, recording 82 points from 36 matches.
