Today, Ikon Allah Academy held the Flying Eagles to a thrilling 2-2 draw in a friendly played at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
The Kaduna academy stunned the Nigeria U20s by opening scoring before former Golden Eaglets striker Muiz Adeleke drew the Flying Eagles level at 1-1.
Adeleke then made it 2-1 with a superb free kick goal from outside the box only for striker Mubarak Abubakar to restore parity soon after courtesy of a great team play by Ikon Allah.
It was an interesting contest as Ikon Allah fought for very ball and were not intimidated by their bigger and more experienced opponents.
