Norway have announced how much the players will receive as bonus at the 2026 World Cup.
Kai-Erik Arstad, CFO of the Norwegian football association, told Norwegian TV2 how much the players will get from the earnings at the World Cup.
“We have agreed on 30 percent of the prize money for the players, and that applies to the entire championship,” he said.
Norway will be paid $10 million for featuring in the first round of the World Cup to begin with.
They are also set to get an additional million dollars for reaching the Round of 32 and will get more as they progress in the competition.
This means the players will receive 30% of these monies.
They face star-studded France in a final first round match to determine the winners of the group.
