Genk fullback Christian Akpan has been handed a late call-up for the friendlies against Poland and Portugal following more withdrawals.
This comes a day after the 21-year-old defender featured for Genk in a UEFA Europa League playoffs.
He has mainly played for the Genk second team in the Challenger League.
Banik Ostrava ace Abdullahi Bewene has also been given a late call-up.
The Super Eagles are already without Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Alhassan Yusuf and Samson Tijani for various reasons.
Super Eagles face hosts Poland Wednesday, before they take on 2026 World Cup-bound Portugal on October 10.
