Money problems will now force Spanish La Liga club Sevilla to sell their top scorer this past season, Jerome Akor.
Spanish publication AS reported that Akor, 26, could now be sold before June 30 to address the financial problems of Sevilla.
It further reported that all the club’s players including compatriot and Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke are also on sale for the same reason.
Akor’s Transfermarkt valuation has now shot to 30 million euros after he established himself in the Super Eagles at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, where Nigeria placed third.
He scored 10 goals and made three assists in 32 appearances as Sevilla narrowly escaped relegation from La Liga this past season.
