Officials have now informed SCORENigeria that there are 13 players in the Super Eagles training camp in London ahead of the Unity Cup with assurances that the full squad will be in place later today.
Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, who recently changed his international allegiance from England, Tochukwu Nnadi (Olympique Marseille) and Philip Otele from Bundesliga side Hamburg are among the foreign pros who have checked in.
The other players include the eight from the NPFL called up by coach Eric Chelle for the invitational tournament, which kicks off with a semifinal shootout against Zimbabwe Tuesday.
That would include late call-up Shooting Stars defender Tijani Al-Ameen.
India and Jamaica will play the second semifinal Wednesday with the winners of the two matches battling for the Unity Cup.
