It is Atleti’s first Champions League semis since 2017.
According to Softfootball , the Super Eagles forward pulled a goal back for home team Atletico after a lively Barcelona had raced into a 2-0 lead to cancel out the 2-0 deficit they suffered at home last week.
Ademola Lookman’s well-taken goal off a quick counter will prove the difference between the two La Liga teams.
He has now netted six goals for his La Liga club since his arrival from Atalanta in January.
Sofascore awarded him 7.7 points for his personal performance.
Atleti will now await tomorrow’s overall winners between Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon in the battle for a place in the final.
Arsenal won the first leg 1-0 in Portugal a week ago.
