The Super Falcons will open training camp this weekend in Abuja ahead of a series of friendlies against their counterparts from Cape Verde.
Details of the venue and dates of these friendlies are yet to be confirmed though, but officials said it will be during the forthcoming international break for women.
The Super Falcons faced their Cameroonian counterparts in Yaounde in the last international break.
The preparations are for this year’s WAFCON, which will now be played from July after it was postponed from March.
The WAFCON will serve as qualifying tournament for next year’s Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
