Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence Galatasaray can get a result at Liverpool next week to advance to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League.
Osimhen assisted for Galatasaray early match winner against the Premier League champions Tuesday night and both teams will clash again next week Wednesday to decide who moves on to the last eight of the competition.
“Yes, it will really be hard at Liverpool (for the return leg), but I am optimistic that we can do some damage at Anfield,” the Super Eagles striker predicted.
“It won’t be easy, but we will give everything.”
Osimhen, who commended his Galatasaray teammates for the home win, was brought to tears after the fans paid a tribute to his late mother.
“It was incredible,” he remarked.
“It was very emotional for me and my family.”
