The hefty financial penalty that Galatasaray will have to pay Napoli in the event they sell Victor Osimhen to an Italian club like Juventus has given top Premier League clubs, from Arsenal to Chelsea, a big advantage to now sign the star striker.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a clause was reportedly inserted by Napoli into Nigerian Centre-Forward Victor Osimhen’s contract at Galatasaray, stipulating that the Turkish champions must pay an $82.7 million (£61.3 million, €70 million) penalty to the Italian club if the striker is sold to Juventus.
This situation is considered to aid the transfer ambitions of Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.
The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray in July 2025, and his contract runs until June 2029.
In the current Süper Lig season, he has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 17 appearances.
The Nigerian international has 52 caps and 35 goals for his country. His current market value is listed on Transfermarkt as €75.00m.
