Ademola Lookman could make his Atletico Madrid debut tonight against Real Betis in a Copa del Rey quarterfinal tie.
In a final training before the cup match, Ademola Lookman played alongside Julian Alvarez in attack.
The Super Eagles star has already earned the commendation of Atletico coach Diego Simeone ahead of the cup tie.
Simeone said Ademola Lookman has quickly integrated into the group, while praising his various qualities.
“He joined the group very quickly, and you could immediately notice his physical strength, his speed, his ability to change the play, and his power in the final third,” the coach praised.
“We hope he can help us in the way he believes he can, and in the way we expect.
“And obviously, that important partnerships are formed for the good of the team, because that’s what it’s about: bringing good players together.”
Kick-off at the Real Betis home ground is 9pm.
