Portuguese giants FC Porto are considering to take Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi on loan from French club OGC Nice.
The interest from Porto is due to their coach, Francesco Farioli, who managed Moffi at OGC Nice during the 2023/2024 season.
Moffi, 26, is seeking to leave OGC Nice after an incident involving supporters. It has been reported that he has approached the league to terminate his contract.
Amid this situation, FC Porto are a potential destination for the striker.
Moffi is one of two attacking options being considered by the Portuguese club, alongside Fabio Silva of Borussia Dortmund.
FC Porto are exploring a loan move, although the transfer could be facilitated if Moffi’s contract with Nice is successfully terminated.
Beşiktaş have also been linked with a move for the player.
His current market value is €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
OGC Nice paid a total of €25 million to sign him from Lorient in 2023.
The centre-forward has 19 caps and four goals for Nigeria.
