As expected, there is only a change in the Super Eagles Starting XI against hosts Morocco in tonight’s 2025 AFCON semifinal in Rabat – Raphael Onyedika in for the suspended captain Wilfred Ndidi in midfield.
Also in Ndidi’s absence, Victor Osimhen will be captain on the night.
Otherwise, coach Eric Chelle has kept faith with the same team right from the Round of 16 against Mozambique.
Fullback Bright Osayi-Samuel has shrugged off a knock from the quarterfinal against Algeria, while the attacking trio of Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Jerome Akor will again go for goals against the host nation backed by a sold-out crowd at the Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Super Eagles Starting XI vs Morocco (4-3-3): Nwabali-Onyemaechi, Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Ajayi – Onyeka, Onyedika, Iwobi – Ademola Lookman, Osimhen (Captain), Akor
