The Super Eagles have been dealt a massive body blow ahead of Wednesday night’s 2025 AFCON semifinals against hosts Morocco in Rabat after captain Wilfred Ndidi will miss the game due to suspension.
Ndidi picked up his second booking in the knockout rounds of tournament against Algeria in the quarterfinal and so will serve out a one-match ban.
He was booked in the 67th minute for time wasting.
He was also cautioned in the 38th minute in the Round of 16 clash against Mozambique.
Raphael Onyedika will be expected to come in for him against Morocco, while Victor Osimhen will captain the Super Eagles in that epic encounter.
