Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has restated his claim that Victor Osimhen is “the best striker in the world”, while hoping he has a great AFCON in Morocco.
Osimhen celebrated his 27th birthday today and the Super Eagles coach joined other well wishers in praising him.
“For me, he’s the best striker in the world,” Eric Chelle said at the Super Eagles official media briefing before tomorrow’s AFCON final Group C match against Uganda in Fes.
“I wish him lots of goals as a striker and I hope this AFCON will be a great AFCON for him.
“He feels good and he’s focused, very focused.”
In Morocco, Osimhen has already matched the one goal he scored at the 2023 AFCON when he hit target against Tunisia at the weekend.
