The NFF president Ibrahim Gusau has met with the Super Eagles, who boycotted training today in Morocco to press for the payment of their bonuses for both the 2025 AFCON as well as the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The meeting was between Gusau and the players with officials left out.
The official line is that the players are demanding for huge bonuses for the World Cup Playoffs in Morocco.
However, SCORENigeria has independently gathered that the crux of the matter is that the Super Eagles want to be paid bonuses they have been owed for the past two years.
These are for the qualifiers for both the 2025 AFCON as well as the 2026 World Cup.
They have only received an appearance fee of $1,000-a-man for these matches thus far.
The players did not even receive this appearance fee payment for last month’s World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin even though the NFF got the payment for this.
KUDOS TO ALL THE SUPER EAGLE PLAYERS ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
IT IS HIGH TIME FOR EVERY CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY TO BE SPEAKING OUT.

IS THERE ANYBODY THAT CAN TELL ME, WHICH OF THE STATE GOVERNORS, SPEAKERS, COMMISSIONERS, SENATORS, MINISTERS, NFF OFFICIAL IN NIGERIA IS MORE PATRIOTIC THAN SUPER EAGLE PLAYERS?
HOW MANY OF GOVERNORS, SENATORS, COMMISSIONERS, MINISTERS, NFF IS NOT COLLECTING THEIR ALLOWANCES, BONUSES, OVERTIMES, WAGES AS IT WHEN DUE? ? ?
BUT MOST TIMES, SUPER EAGLE PLAYERS ARE THE ONE USING THEIR CLUB WAGES TO BE FINANCING THEMSELVES WHEN COMING TO PLAY FOR NATIONAL TEAM JUST IN THE NAME OF PATRIOTIC. ARE THEY NOT HAVING FAMILIES, CHILDREN, RELATIVES THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF.
NFF SHOULD PAY PLAYERS ‘s MONEY BECAUSE IT ALREADY BEEN INCLUDED INTO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUDGET( despite FIFA & CAF grant ).

BECAUSE NO SENATORS, HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY MEMBERS CAN FORFEIT HIS/HER ALLOWANCES.
