Highly promising Pisa SC midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, who has been on the radar of the Super Eagles, was forced out of a Serie A clash against Cremonese by a suspected shoulder injury.
Akinsanmiro, 20, was pulling his weight in midfield before the injury in the 68th minute of this Friday night game.
He has variously been tipped to earn his first Super Eagles call-up for next week’s World Cup Playoffs on the back of some sparkling displays for Pisa on loan from Inter Milan.
He was Man of the Match against Fiorentina, delivered his first Serie A assist against AC Milan, among other top performances in the Italian top league.
