Gift Orban was on target as TSG Hoffenheim outscored fellow German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen 3-0 in the second of two pre-season friendlies.
The one-time Super Eagles invitee, who has recovered fully from an injury that sidelined him for several weeks, headed Hoffenheim ahead on 46 minutes.
Both Flying Eagles stars Emmanuel Chukwu and Precious Benjamin were late substitutes in the first game against Werder Bremen as they were introduced in the 79th minute.
Hoffenheim will continue with their build-up to the new season with another friendly against French club Metz next Saturday.
