Super Falcons have made only a change to their Starting XI for tonight’s epic 2024 WAFCON final against hosts Morocco – Deborah Abiodun is in for injury doubt Jennifer Echegini.
PSG midfielder Echegini was forced out by injury from the pulsating semifinal against Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
Otherwise, coach Justine Madugu keeps faith with the team that first dismantled Zambia in the quarterfinal.
The defence that has only let in a goal thus far is intact with goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie shielded by Michele Aloze, Ashleigh Pulmptre, Osinachi Ohale and Tosin Demehin.
Abiodun will bring new energy to a midfield that also has Halimatu Ayinde and captain Rasheedat Ajibade, while the attack has Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi and Chinwedu Ihezuo.
Super Falcons Starting XI: Nnadozie – Plumptre, Alozie, Ohale, Demehin – Abiodun, Ayinde, Ajibade – Ijamilusi, Okoronkwo, Ihezuo
