Napoli have given up on signing Ademola Lookman and now have penciled down Antonio Nusa, whose father is Nigerian, as an option for the Atalanta forward.
Corriere dello Sport reported today that Napoli have opted out of the race for Ademola Lookman after he expressed his desire to join fellow Serie A rivals Inter Milan.
They had proposed to the player a bigger salary than what Inter offered.
The Italian league champions have thus identified three left wingers including Nusa to add to their squad for the new season.
Former Club Brugge star Nusa, who is a Norway international through his mother, is currently at RB Leipzig.
The other alternatives to Ademola Lookman are Jack Grealish of Manchester City and Federico Chiesa of Liverpool.
