Galatasaray and Napoli will meet today for another round of talks over the proposed transfer of Victor Osimhen.
Transfer Expert Ciro Venerato told Rai2: “Monday (today) is a key date for Osimhen.
“De Laurentiis and Chiavelli are waiting for Galatasaray’s guarantees of 40 Million Euros in cash immediately plus two instalments to reach 75 Million Euros.”
Various other reports said Osimhen has never been closer to joining Galatasaray.
The bank guarantees that Napoli have demanded all week long will finally arrive after Galatasaray agreed to now pay the 75 Million Euros release clause in three installments – 40 Million Euros upfront, 17.5 Million Euros next year and 17.5 Million Euros in 2027.
However, Napoli want the balance of 35 Million Euros to be paid next year.
Osimhen has agreed an annual salary of 18 Million Euros with Galatasaray on a three-year contract with an option for an additional year.
He has insisted that the Turkish champions are his choice.
Transfer Expert Venerato said De Laurentiis will ask Osimhen to re-evaluate the Al Hilal offer if Galatasaray failed to satisfy Napoli.
