FC Cincinnati have announced that midfielder Obinna Nwobodo has undergone surgery.
The surgery was to repair a torn quadriceps tendon that he suffered against CF Montreal last month.
The MLS club said Nwobodo will be sidelined for several months.
The surgery was at The Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, Penn, and it was performed by Dr. Alex Poor.
